Air Cycle Combined Cooling, Heat and Power System driven by Low- grade Renewable Heat

Aircoles

Overview

The project aims to develop a breakthrough technology that efficiently uses low-grade renewable heat sources for combined cooling, heating, and power (CCHP) generation, using air as natural working fluid. The project intends to develop a unique integrated solution, called the "AIRCOLES", relying on two innovative components effectively combined within a single unit that recovers low-grade renewable heat such as geothermal, solar, urban heat or waste heat from data centres.
