Netherlands based Smart Energy Solutions company Solarus designed and manufactures the hybrid PowerCollector, an unique and patented collector with the highest yield ever measured. It even generates up to three times more energy from the sun than conventional PV panels. This increased efficiency allows Solarus to displace more fossil fuel based energy and reduce CO2 emissions.The company Solarus sell and develop high temperature PVT collectors. These hybrid solar panels are a combination of PV solar panels and solar collectors. The panels provide both electricity and heat. They are especially suitable for smaller roof areas. Hybrid solar panels are also referred to as PVT (Photo Voltaisch Thermisch) panels.
