Very High-Temperature Borehole Thermal Energy Storage

VHT-STORAGE

Overview

The VHT-STORAGE project is developing a new way to store heat underground at very high temperatures (110--140°C) system from TRL 4 to TRL 6, using Absolicon's advanced solar collectors. A key part of the project is a digital twin platform that makes it easier and safer to scale the technology across Europe. Our ultimate goal is to deliver clean, zero-emission, and almost free heating for urban communities making sustainable energy both practical and accessible.
